Privacy Policy

Reorder is a personal takeaway review app created by Tristan Thomas. This policy explains what information the app processes and how it is used.

Information you provide in the app

Reorder stores the restaurants you save, restaurant details, ratings, review notes, dish notes, dates, profile names, generated summaries, and any voice review recordings or transcripts you choose to create.

Location

If you grant permission, Reorder uses your location to help find takeaway restaurants near you and to show useful distance context. Location access is optional.

Voice recording and transcription

If you choose to record a review, Reorder uses microphone access to capture the recording and speech recognition to transcribe it. Voice features are used only when you start a recording.

Apple Intelligence

When Apple Intelligence is available, Reorder can use it to help structure review text, extract dish notes, generate restaurant summaries, and answer questions from your saved reviews.

How your data is used

Reorder uses your data to:

• Show your saved restaurants and reviews.
• Calculate ratings, recent orders, dish summaries, and restaurant summaries.
• Search your saved restaurants, dishes, profiles, and notes.
• Help answer questions from your own review history when supported.
• Export your saved reviews as CSV when you choose to export them.
• Sync your data across your own devices when iCloud is available.

Storage and syncing

Your review data is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is available and enabled for Reorder, your data may also be stored in your private iCloud account so it can sync across your own devices.

If iCloud is not available, Reorder falls back to local on-device storage.

Accounts, analytics, and advertising

Reorder does not require you to create an account. Reorder does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data sharing

Reorder does not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by Apple platform services, such as iCloud, Speech Recognition, MapKit, and Apple Intelligence, only as needed to provide the app features you choose to use.

Deleting your data

You can delete saved restaurants and reviews inside Reorder. You can remove local app data by deleting Reorder from your device. iCloud-synced data can be managed through your Apple ID and iCloud storage settings.
